GOODFAIR’S RESPONSE TO COVID-19

At Goodfair, our commitment to disrupting modern consumerism habits is surpassed only by our commitment to the health and safety of our employees and our community. We have implemented new policies in our warehouse, offices, and onsite pickup to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

These policies include:
Enhanced Warehouse Safety and Sanitization
All warehouse workers must wear protective masks that cover their mouth and nose at all times. Warehouse employees are also required to sanitize hands at least once an hour when handling, sorting, picking, and shipping clothes. Doorknobs, workstations, and rolling racks are sanitized every hour as well.
Zero-Tolerance sick policy
If any employees are sick, or begin to feel sick, they are instructed to stay home without penalty. If they are feeling well enough to work they are encouraged to work from home — if they are not well then they are encouraged to rest and recuperate. Nobody is permitted to enter the warehouse or office with any sort of illness.
Quarantining after exposure risk
If an employee or someone in their household has possibly been exposed to COVID-19, they are required to stay away from the office for 14 days. Employees who have traveled to designated hotspot areas are also required to stay away from the office for 14 days upon their return.
Business travel and events
We have temporarily cancelled all non-essential business travel and have replaced in-person customer events with digital events.
personal travel restrictions
Employees are discouraged from personal travel to designated areas with high incidences of COVID-19 cases. Those that still wish to do so must remain away from the office or warehouse for 14 days after returning.
Mandatory work from home policy
Office employees have been working from home since March in an effort to halt the spread of COVID-19 from within our Goodfair community.
Onsite visit changes
We have replaced in-person candidate interviews with video conferences. We have also banned in-person office visits from anyone that has been to any COVID hotpots in the previous 14 days.
